Classifies filtering half masks into three classes according to filtration efficiency.

FFP1 — 4× PEL protection

Filters min. 80% of particles. Suitable against non-toxic dust — cleaning, sanding, gardening.

FFP2 — 10× PEL protection

Filters min. 94% of particles. Standard for working with biological material, welding, metal grinding.

FFP3 — 30× PEL protection

Filters min. 99% of particles. Highest protection — asbestos, bacteria, viruses (SARS-CoV-2), radioactive dust.

How long to use a respirator?

Disposable respirators (FFP1/FFP2/FFP3 without R marking) are intended for one shift. Respirators marked NR (Non-Reusable) — maximum one shift. R (Reusable) respirators can be used repeatedly according to manufacturer's instructions.
